Master Seyed Mahdi Najand initiated his first experience in the Material Arts in 1977 he undertook some courses in martial art of Kung Fu style and successfully completed his course and could obtain black belt rank in this style .Later, he began to get known about Karate style, he undertook some courses in this style and achieved the black belt 2nd Dan rank in this style . He got the 2nd Dan of Teak -wan- do style simultaneously as well.

His interest in self defense and street fights, he seriously followed the Korean styles as such :"Kuksool-wan" and " Hapkido " from 1991 upto present .

Further, he took a trip to Korea there he undertook some courses in this style with grand Master Lee Chang Soo, who is famous and well known master of hapkido style in korea.

Talents and skills which Mr. Najand showed and proved his high ability in martial arts, brought him a high dignity with the grand Master lee Chang Soo . . In 2001, Mr. Najand was admitted as agent of Master Massan Ghorbani , and started to train the Sin Moo Hapkido in Iran and he could obtain the 5th Dan of Sin Moo Hapkido from Master Ghorbani. At present, Master Najand, is national agent of world hapkido running under supervision of Master TEA JUNG .
